A "wet rate" means fuel is included in the hourly price. You pay the listed rate and there are no separate fuel charges. This makes budgeting simple and predictable. All of our aircraft rental rates are wet.
Yes — all program package prices include both aircraft rental and CFI instruction fees for dual flight hours. When you're flying solo, the instructor fee obviously doesn't apply. Ground school and written exam prep are also included in packages.
Package estimates are based on the FAA minimum required hours. Most students require more hours than the minimum — the national average for PPL is 60–70 hours vs. the 40-hour minimum. Weather cancellations, scheduling gaps, and the pace of skill development all affect total cost. We provide honest estimates and will never drag out your training unnecessarily.
Yes. If you purchase 10 or more aircraft hours in advance, you receive a 5% discount on those hours. Block time doesn't expire, so it's a great way to save if you plan to fly regularly. Contact us for details on setting up a block time account.
