We're building something different in Austin. If you care about how pilots are trained — not just that they're trained — this is the right place.
We built the environment we'd want to work in. That means the right tools, a consistent standard, and students who actually want to be here.
No winging it. Every program at Apex follows a structured curriculum so you spend your sessions teaching — not figuring out what comes next.
Our FAA-qualified AATD is the primary teaching environment. You'll have access to the simulator for ground instruction, scenario work, and proficiency training.
Our students come in having already done their homework. Apex's pre-training ground school means you're not re-explaining basics in the air.
Work alongside Andrew and contribute to a program that's growing. Early team members shape how Apex runs — this isn't a revolving-door instructor job.
Ground instructor sessions are virtual and run on a consistent weekly schedule. You know when you're working, and so do your students.
Apex isn't a marketplace of independent instructors. Everyone teaches the same way, to the same standard. That consistency protects students — and the team.
We're a small team, so every hire matters. We'd rather wait for the right person than fill a seat.
Apex Advantage ground school is live now, with live, virtual sessions covering Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, and Commercial Pilot knowledge. We're looking for an AGI or CFI with a genuine ability to explain aviation concepts clearly — someone who can hold a room (even a virtual one), answer the question behind the question, and make regulations feel like something worth understanding.
Sessions run Monday through Thursday on a set schedule. You'll teach one or more certificate tracks depending on your background and availability. All curriculum is provided — your job is to bring it to life.
Email info@apexaviationtx.com with your resume, certificates, and a short note on why Apex. No cover letter required — just be real about what you've done and what you're looking for.
